In 2004, Himalayan Chetna established the Rajendra Lotus Public School / Indus Valley Pub Sen. Sec. School Anu Khurd to provide quality education and coaching for children from rural areas, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance for building a better future. This day-boarding school has educated thousands of students, particularly those from families who couldn’t afford high fees or additional coaching elsewhere.
Why Himalayan Chetna?
The main concern of HCN is providing quality education to the underprivileged and weaker section of the society. In this regard, the HCN is working since its inception in the year 2004. Since then, the HCN is running an educational institution where special attention has been given to child care, child rights and child education. The educational programme of Himalayan Chetna includes, pre-school education, formal school education, remedial education, bridge course, adult education, etc.
Educational Achievements
Himalayan Chetna sponsored the coaching fees for 100 students from grades IX to XII at Indus Valley School, Hamirpur.
On behalf of Himalayan Chetna NGO, I am pleased to inform you about our new initiative to support the education of underprivileged children. As part of our ongoing efforts, we are offering free coaching sponsorship for 100 children to help them excel during academically to prepare for competitive exams.
This initiative aims to provide quality education and guidance to children who are in need, ensuring they have the resources to pursue their dreams without financial constraints.

Indus Valley School, Anu Khurd, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, had an impressive performance in the HP Board exams soecialiy in 2023 . Students from the school in science stream secured remarkable achievements, with one student achieving 3rd rank and another securing 7th rank, placing them in the top 10 of the state. In previous years students also scored over 90% in , bringing pride and recognition to the school through their exceptional academic success.
Co-Curricular Activities
We provided free education and coaching to these children, which led to a 100% success rate among the students, with many excelling in career-oriented tests during their school years. Through our NGO, numerous children received free education.
