Childhood is often cherished as the best part of life, characterized by carefree, safe, and happy moments. However, for many children, especially those out of school, a happy childhood is far from reality. Various factors contribute to school dropouts, such as challenging socio-economic conditions and a lack of awareness in communities where education is not prioritized.

Attending school not only paves the way for a dignified future and a joyful present for children but also provides them with a secure environment to express themselves, learn, share, and grow. Unfortunately, children who drop out of school frequently end up as child laborers, victims of child marriages, or child trafficking.

Himalayan Chetan Education and Social Welfare Society’s initiative is dedicated to helping children from challenging backgrounds continue their education, hoping for a brighter future and better life. Currently, we are directly providing education to over 120,000 children across 27 states in India.
